About 11 thousand representatives of an ethnic group of Tatars of the Volga region live in Crimea. The chairman of Republican committee of ARC on affairs of international relations and the deported citizens Edward Dudakov has informed on it at session of Constant commission SR ARC on international relations and problems of the deported citizens on February, 12th.
Thus, according to Edward Dudakov, last year within the limits of a comprehensive plan of actions for development of national traditions and cultures of Reskomnats «Drinking bout» has assisted in carrying out of a national holiday of Tatars of the Volga region.
