For the first time for years of independence the part of Crimean Tatar politipoliticians has openly started talking about an absolute must of full reformatting of national movement. It seems that developments of stagnation in Medjilis generate something bigger, than cosmetic reforms undertaken by its leaders.
In a past week-end near the Sudak there have passed hearings with participation oppositional to Medjilis crimean Tatar organisations. There not simply criticised Medjilis, and, as a matter of fact, urged to clean it from the Crimean and Ukrainian political systems in view of obvious inability to solve essential problems of the Crimean Tatars and full management of national body of the Ukrainian nationalists.
«Milli Medzhlis actually became an appendage of present ruling circles of Ukraine, — quotes resolutions of meeting an opposition party site « Milli Firka», — proclaimed with the principle pernicious for Crimea and all Ukraine a principle unitarizm. Declaration of the purpose of construction of the uniform country, the uniform people with uniform language and belief, and also the accelerated assimilation of the Crimean Tatars as complete people and its dissolution in the Ukrainian nation became their slogan. In such concept of Ukraine there is no place to the Crimean Tatar people. Whether so such Ukraine is necessary to us? And whether such representative bodies agreeing with such strategy of the Ukrainian authorities are necessary to us?».
Participants of meeting have regarded such policy of Medjilis «as treachery of national interests» the Crimean Tatars, and its leaders as people, the «actions and even inactivity indulging such policy» and accomplices «the greatest meanness against Crimean Tatar people».
Oppositionists consider, it is necessary to put an end to it.
It is even more on nuts has got to «the senior companions» of medjilis from Kiev:
Today the executor of «a misanthropic plan» to wipe off the face of the earth Crimean Tatar people «the Ukrainian power acts wallowed in corruption and political scandals».
Meanwhile leaders of Medjilis «have completely departed in the practical activities from principles and requirements of the Order and the Declaration on the national sovereignty of Crimean Tatar people, have grown together with the present Ukrainian power, becoming one of its divisions. For this reason the Crimean Tatars have till now no possibility to reunite in the uniform nation, being exposed to the latent and obvious discrimination», — participants of National meeting consider.
Thereupon they urge delegates of present Kurultaj to demand immediately convocation of extraordinary session to put «a question on self-dissolution of illegitimate Kurultaj and creation with the assistance of all political organisations the Crimean Tatar Organizing committee on convocation of new Kurultaj on principles of direct democracy».
