According to last oppinion poll, favourites of presidential election campaign in Crimea are the candidate from the Block of the left and left-centrist forces Peter Simonenko (that is quite explainable) and the party leader of regions Victor Yanukovych.

Though the rating last in comparison with presidential election of 2004 also has gone down on peninsula several times, the main thing of «regional» continues to support «obstinately» a part of the Prorussian focused electorate. And it in spite of the fact that from Party of Regions all a little significant Russian and Prorussian organisations of an autonomy for a long time already have broken away.

Meanwhile Victor Fedorovich in Crimea can lose and last. On the eve of voting Yanukovych’s staff has suddenly begun the propaganda campaign focused on the Crimean Tatars. In their environment began to extend brochures with Yanukovych’s electoral programme, printed on Crimean Tatar language (!!!). On a cover the inscription «Yanukovych bizim president» (Yanukovych our president) flaunts.

This PR course has once again confirmed that Party of Regions and its leader have no accurate ideology (and hardly ever it had). The main thing for them — to seize upon the power, and for this purpose, as they say, all methods are good. If it is necessary — hymns in glory of Great Russia with tears in the face of will sing, and there will be a necessity also trimming, without batting an eyelid, will make. In a word, complete «bizim».

However in the desire to add to the leader pair-three the Tatar voices staff of Yanukovych has obviously overdone. Because badly know an electoral field on peninsula. First, such curtsey in the counter party as we already spoke, can deprive of his last support in the Russian environment. Hardly sharp change of political orientation of Yanukovych will cause respect. And then: if he wished to get support of a radical part of Crimean tatar electorate then necessary extend the brochure not on Cyrillics, and in a Latin. On last there are all documents accepted by Medzhlis and Kurultaj, naturally, with a Russian translation. If the brochure has been focused on loyal Crimean Tatar circles it was quite possible to manage an electoral programme in Russian. The matter is that not all Crimean Tatars (especially youth) know well Crimean Tatar language. Whereas Russian is on peninsula language of international dialogue for more than 90 percent of the population.

By the way, about for whom the Crimean Tatars will vote on January, 17th, the leader oppositional to Medzhlis public organisation Milli Firka Vasvi Abduraimov has told at the press conference which have taken place in Simferopol. We will remind that after an attack of Georgia to South Ossetia it has directed to Consulate general of the Russian Federation in Simferopol the circulation addressed to the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, prime minister Vladimir Putin and the head of republic Tatarstan Mintimer Shajmiev, with call-up «to protect radical and other small ethnoses of Crimea from an incessant genocide of from outside nationalist adjusted authorities of Ukraine».

According to Abduraimov though Medzhlis officially does not support on forthcoming elections of any of candidates in presidents, but «actually» urges to vote for Timoshenko. In turn, close to Medzhlis radical organisation «Avdet» ostensibly still prefers Victor Yushchenko. And here Milli Firka and advice Crimean Tatar elders «Namus» having not smaller support in circle of the compatriots, have urged not to support on elections anybody from candidates. At the same time, according to Abduraimov, on May, 30th this year on elections to local government bodies Milli Firka intend to go under the brand as independent political force. Medzhlis will be delighted.
