Fears concerning that sharp actualisation of a Crimean Tatar question in the near future is possible, are justified, — the deputy director of the Center Ukrainistics and Belorusistics the Moscow State University of M.V.Lomonosov Bogdan Bezpalko has declared on July, 13th in interview to the correspondent of news agency REGNUM News.
«The situation in Crimea has started to be heated after as the chairman of the government Vasily Dzharty who takes of frankly Antitatar position» there has been appointed, — Bezpalko has told. Besides, according to the expert, a number of incidents which have occurred recently in Crimea, specifies that at Crimean Tatar mood communities too gradually radicalize. «I do not exclude that in connection with these two factors the situation in Crimea can become aggravated and lead any sort to interethnic collisions», — the political scientist has told.
Addressing to the historical background, the expert has noticed that Tatars aggressively enough proved for all time of Post-Soviet history, and their main objective was transformation of Crimea in a Crimean Tatar national autonomy. «Thus they forget that rather radical people for Crimea are Karaites, instead of the Crimean Tatars whom, as a matter of fact, the same alien people, as well as the same Russian whom Tatars accuse of peninsula capture», — have added Bezpalko.
Drawing a parallel with a present situation, the expert has informed that in 90th years there were some incidents which constantly supported intensity between slavic and Tatar communities, the part from them has ended with a lethal outcome. «In this connection purpose for a supervising post of the person who frankly opposes one of communities, will inevitably lead to an aggravation of conditions and, accordingly, to intensity escalation between national communities», — Bezpalko has summed up.
