«With power change in Crimea special political changes there nobody will feel, as politically Crimea was and remains independent enough». Such opinion was expressed in Kiev on March, 23rd by the Ukrainian political scientist Sergey Taran.
«Therefore all changes which peninsulas will concern, will have economic character. Privatisation of objects which had not beem privatised yet, and also repartition of spheres of economic influence» is expected, — he has declared. The expert also has noted: «In the world there is a great interest concerning investment in the Crimean peninsula, however this interest cannot be embodied, as game rules at the new power will not exchange, and on peninsula shadow struggle that will prevent liberalisation of the Crimean economy for that so wait abroad will proceed. Therefore, to transform Crimea into tourist Mecca about what Victor Yanukovych spoke, to those people whom nowadays in power on peninsula, it is necessary to refuse own interests and to open possibility to adjust market mechanisms of reception of the property in Crimea. I doubt that present political elite can go on it».
It does not predict changes in a Crimean Tatar question. «The Tatar question nowadays is not so much political, as economic. If to look at conflicts of last time to participation of the Crimean Tatars, they, as a rule, occur on southern coast of Crimea and concern with road of the earth to coastal territories. It means that in their basis do not lie ethnic questions, and economic interest», — Sergey Taran has noted.
