The question connected with the Crimean Tatar population, it is necessary to settle the separate law. Such opinion in exclusive comment was stated by the first deputy of the head of Committee SR concerning human rights, national minorities and international relations, the People’s Deputy from fraction «BJUT-BATKIVSHCHINA» Victor Taran.

«I don’t see a thorny question connected with the Crimean Tatars. First of all here it is necessary to pass the law on deportation of the Crimean Tatar population. This bill has been prepared in due time by our Committee and it has been accepted by the Supreme Rada, but President Kuchma vetoed it. At Yushchenko’s presidency it has been also accepted», — he noticed.
As he said, this bill has been repeatedly considered by Committee. «In it variety of the questions concerning the Crimean Tatar population, including an agrarian question, questions of cultural character is regulated», — has added V.Taran.
