Turkey is interested in activity of the Naval forces of Ukraine in the Black Sea region. It was declared by the new appointed Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkish Republic in Ukraine Ahmet Bjulent Merich on February, 16th during a meeting with temporarily fulfilling duties of the Minister of Defence Valery Ivaschenko.
As informs UNIAN, A.Merich has underlined that for both countries safety in the Black Sea region is one of the main tasks and has expressed hope that Ukraine will be active participant in such initiatives of safety in region, as «Blackseafor» and operation «Black Sea harmony».
In turn V.Ivashchenko has noticed that the Ukrainian defensive department is interested in carrying out of military-political consultations on safety issues in the Black Sea region, an exchange of experience in questions of reforming and development of armed forces, creation of modern system of personnel management
On February, 16th Ahmet Bjulent Merich has arrived to Crimea with official visit. On arrival of the ambassador, the Honourable consulate of Turkish Republic in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol) has given in his honour an official supper at restaurant «Ali-Baba».
This very day the ambassador has met a management of Commercial and industrial chamber of Crimea, in a course which discussion of the basic questions of trade and economic cooperation between Turkey and Crimea has taken place.
In a meeting Murat Tamer the general Consul of Turkish Republic in Odessa, the Honourable Consul of Turkish Republic in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol) Sejran Osmanlov and employees of Embassy of Turkish republic in Ukraine have taken part. The Crimean party was represented by the president of Commercial and industrial chamber of Crimea Neonila Grachova, the first vice-president ща ССI Evgenie Savinov, the deputy director of Department on foreign economic relations, etc.
During session representatives of both parties have discussed results of economic cooperation for 2009. So, president of CCI of Crimea Neonila Grachova has noticed that the last 2009 was adverse for both parties: «In comparison with 2008, the total amount of export of goods of both parties has fallen to 30 %, and import volume — on 45 %».
In turn A.B.Merich has noticed that 60 million dollars (an indicator of the external economic contacts in 2009) is a small sum both for Crimea, and for Turkey.
«If to do conclusions on the last year we will see that basically from Crimea the goods of chemical manufacture were imported to Turkey. And Turkey, in turn, imported articles of food and the light industry goods. It once again confirms that we require in each other» — the Turkish ambassador has explained.
In this connection, the parties have come to a conclusion that for an exit from a current situation, that is for increase of level of import and export of goods in 2010, are necessary transition in free trade and economic sphere, and also visa regime cancellation between Ukraine and Turkey.
«If these conditions are executed, I am assured that the goods and the capital can freely move», — Ahmet Bjulent Merich has underlined.
To Ukraine that Turkey has decided to release Russia earlier from a visa regime is a little insulting. It has declared the president of Commercial and industrial chamber (CCI) of Crimea Neonila Grachova during a meeting with the new appointed Extreme Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Turkish Republic in Ukraine Ahmet Bjulentom Merichem.
«The Turkish side says that looks at Ukraine with new prospect and suggests to pass from friendship to partnership. However, during Russian-Turkish negotiations on January, 13th, within the limits of visit to Moscow of Turkish prime minister Redzhep Tajip Erdogan, The actions for transition to a visa-free regime have been begun there. We, certainly, are glad for Russia, but to us as to Ukraine, it is a little insulting that not we» were the first — has explained Neonila Grachova.
In reply to it, A.Bjulent Merich has noticed that Turkey is ready to release Ukraine from a visa regime if last goes to it on a meeting. Also, he has noticed that there are many Turkish businessmen in Ukraine. However, during business dealing all of them face numerous problems: VAT payment at goods import to Ukraine or payment of double taxes or, for example, there were cases when civil engineering firms, having performed the work, cannot receive the money earned by them.
In turn the receiving party has noted about necessity to submit for consideration the Ukrainian authorities possibility of overcoming of similar barriers.
«A visit of the Prime minister of Turkey Tajip Erdogan to Ukraine is planned in the near future. And we hope that during his visit if you support us, some barriers to Turkish businessmen will be overcome. Between Ukraine and Turkey actions for transition to a visa-free regime» will begin — the high-ranking visitor summarised.
The plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkish Republic in Ukraine Ahmet Bjulent Merich during official visit to Crimea has visited on February, 17th the Crimean engineering-pedagogical university (CEPU). The rector Fevzi Yakubov has shown CEPU to the high-ranking visitor a monument «the Renaissance», devoted to victims of deportation on May, 18th, 1944, and also has presented gathered an architectural composition «the Pedestal to the future Nobel winner».
After that, the new ambassador of Turkey in Ukraine have acquainted with work of faculties of CEPU which at university is available nine. The dean of faculty of Crimean Tatar and Turkish philology Enise Abibullaeva has presented to dear Turkish visitors the equipped offices, rich library for the students studying Turkish language. We will notice that the faculty of Crimean Tatar and Turkish philology actively develops with support of Turkish management on cooperation and (TIC) development.
Then, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkish Republic in Ukraine Ahmet Bjulent Merich in a conference hall of CEPU has met professorial structure of university. During grand welcome for the high-ranking visitors music performed by violin ensemble «Selsebil» and a Crimean Tatar song «Gogerdzhin» («Pigeon») performed by singer Emine Mustafaeva has sounded.
Merich has greeted professorial structure of university and has noticed that he is glad to achievements and active work of CEPU. Besides, he has told, that is it a worthy educational institution which brings up new generation.
The plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey in Ukraine Ahmet Bjulent Merich is convinced that Crimea is very important region in mutual relations of Turkey and Ukraine, and the Crimean Tatars carry out a certain binding role between two states.

The rector of CEPU Fevzi Yakubov has thanked the respectable visitor and has noticed that his arrival is a great honour to university. Besides, the rector has told that at university the faculty of Crimean Tatar and Turkish philology actively works, and the students studying Turkish language annually participate in the Olympic Games and conferences on Turkish language.

The assistant to the co-ordinator of the Program of the TIC Hadzhi Bajram Bolat has noticed that the TIC actively promotes revival and development of Crimean Tatar culture and language, assists to the Crimean Tatar youth organisations, national schools, Medzhlis of the Crimean Tatar people, League of Crimean Tatar women, to Spiritual management of Moslems of Crimea (SMMC).
Besides, in places of compact residing of the Crimean Tatars of the TIC helps to solve the essential social problems of the people connected with water, gas etc.
Let’s notice that with support of Turkish management on cooperation and development works and the faculty of Crimean Tatar and Turkish philology at the Crimean engineering-pedagogical university develops. The TIC brings books from Turkey for training of students to Turkish language, and also promotes expansion of educational books on Crimean Tatar language. However, Hadzhi Bajram Bolat has noticed that books on Crimean Tatar language extremely do not suffice, for the decision of this problem CEPU was entrusted to teaching structure to prepare book release.
The assistant to the co-ordinator of the Program of the TIC has told also that according to the project of development of Crimea for 2009 archeological excavations in territory of Zyndzhyrly Medrese which have opened new pages of history of one of the oldest educational institutions of the Eastern Europe were conducted.
Since 2006, Turkish management on cooperation and (TIC) development which Crimean office is in Simferopol, has financed in Crimea 41 project, directed on a development of education in region, for the sum of 3 million dollars. About it became known at a meeting of the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey in Ukraine Ahmet Bjulenta Mericha with representatives of the TIC.
The assistant to the co-ordinator of the Program of the TIC Hadzhi Bajram Bolat has informed that in 2009 in Crimea of the TIC has finished repairing of two schools in Kezlev (Evpatoria) and v. Bulganak (Kolchugino) with Crimean Tatar drilling language, the kindergarten in Karasubazar (Belogorsk) has been completely equipped, one of schools in the Bakhchsarai area has been equipped by potable water system and many other things.
The inquiry. Based in 1992 of the TIC works in many countries of Africa, Asia and Europe, giving development aid of the countries-partners within the limits of the projects and actions.
TIC has been generated for development aid granting, first of all, in developing countries where speak in Turkic languages and the countries which border on Turkey, and also expansions of cooperation within the limits of projects and programs in economic, commercial, technical, social, cultural and educational spheres. In Crimea the TIC carries out the activity since 1995.
